For those who are not familiar with a Danube Festival:
The Donauinselfest (Danube Island Festival) is an open-air free music and art festival taking place annually for a week at Donauinsel in Vienna, Austria. During this time the island turns into a party site for a few million visitors. The Festival usually takes place in the middle or at the end of June.
There are designated some 21 different theme areas/islands to suit every age and music taste, there are also islands dedicated to sport activities for all age groups.
Watch the space for the announcements of the performing top artists, themes for the islands and the full programme.
Follow the Festival's FB page for news and updates.
You can find more information about the organisers, The SPO Wiener Bildung, which is a Non-Profit Educational Organisation, member of River//Cities Platform HERE.
